About Me

Me As a Person
9/29/18

Spiro Klimentos: A star that will eventually explode and become a blackhole.
Hi, I'm Spiro Klimentos, besides my physicality of 5 ft 11.5 inch and being incredibly handsome, I also have a lot of personality. Whether or not you find my personality unique or appealing is up to your own personal feeling and life experiences. (If you don't like me you're missing out though :)).

My Nationality/ Ethnicity: I am a first-generation Cypriot Greek American: my Greek is subpar at best so don't ask for any on demand translations, unless I got google translate out. Don't assume I like My Big Fat Greek wedding either or anything else thats "Greek" (That Windex thing in the movie is a total lie).

How I Define Myself: I define myself as a fun mathematical equation known as Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation (F=G (M1*M2)/(r^2)). In this equation there is a constant known as G which is an implied constant no matter the other values. The constant in my life is my humorous and joyful attitude, my kindness, my tendency to compliment people to annoyance, and my love of learning. As I said before these are the constants; I believe nobody is the same person everyday, for you learn new things everyday whether it be good or bad; these are the Variables of the Equation (mass and distance). The variables that change me everyday include many things such as the stuff I learn about the world and my friends, the people I talk with, the grades I get on quizzes and Test's, the activities I do, and so much more. However as the equation always equals F (Force), I always equal Spiro.

My Goals: I want to become an Aerospace Engineer and possibly help humanity become a Interplanetary species. Space is a beautiful and mysterious thing that always causes a sense of longing when I think of it for a reason I can't explain.

Now for the Gooooood Stuff

Music

My Music Tastes: I have a strong love for Classic Rock, Blues Rock, Rock, Classical and Jazz respectively (In that order). I will only talk about my Rock interests however since it outweighs Jazz and Classical Gretaly (Intentional)

My Favorite Rock Bands: Led Zeppelin, Rush, Cream, Eagles, Jimi-Hendrix Experience, ELO, Queen, Fleetwood Mac (Original Band)
New Bands: CHON, Greta Van Fleet (if their next album is good).

Spiro's Hall of Fame of Songs: Led Zeppelin (Too many to type out). Money- Pink Floyd. 2112, YYZ, Anthem- Rush. Hotel California- Eagles, White Room, Sunshine of Your Love- Cream. All Along the Watchtower- Jimi Hendrix. Free Bird- Lynyrd Skynyrd   (No order).
These are songs that I believe are memorable and unique.

Spiro's Current Favorite Song: Magic- Pilot
I believe a favorite song can not be eternally the same one. For me it changes every 5 to 10 days.

I will update this playlist as time goes on. This is my music taste (it includes classical too)

Hobbies

Playing Instruments give me the greatest pleasure. Over my lifetime I have played many instruments briefly, which is something I regret now for I never truly learned to master an instrument. I decided to change that however.

My Instruments: My two main instruments are the Guitar and the Bass Guitar. I have played the Guitar for about nine months and own one electric and two acoustics all of which I got for free (thanks to my cousin and sister for being untalented swine, who suck at instruments and are squares compared to me.). I have owned a Bass Guitar for about a month; it is definitely my best looking instrument because it is the only instrument I bought so I chose the color I like.

Cleaning: People might think is crazy, but cleaning consumes so much time that you would otherwise be using to make a mess of things. My "Go To" song for cleaning is Lets Groove- EW&F. Classical music also really gets me in the cleaning mood. Another reason I like to clean, is because I learned as a kid I could find money and coins in spots people would otherwise ignore; lets just say I always had money to buy the Wii games my parents said I "couldn't get" (shoutout to my other cousin).

Video Games: As a 21st century kid I grew up with a Gameboy, a DS, a Wii, and an Xbox and many more video game platforms, which caused me to love video games growing up. Though not as prevalent as it was a couple years ago, my interest in games will still always be in me.
I personally enjoy playing single player and Co-op games right now since I have become too good at multiplayer video games. Every multiplayer video game I have played for some time, I have been able to achieve top 500 in North America (One being out of 10 million players) or even the World. When I look back on this I really regret these "achievements" for they were so meaningless and such a massive waste of time.

Favorite Games (Any order): Portal, Borderlands, Super Smash Bros., Batman Arkham (Not Origins), Waling Dead TTS, Overwatch, Wii Sports, De Blob, Guitar Hero, Minecraft.

I don't understand the appeal of Fortnite, it's so easy to win and their is no character progression. ( I can't wait till the game dies).

Movies & Series

Favorite Movies: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Usual Suspects, A Street Car Named Desire, Manchester by the Sea, WALL-E , Up (Pixar is the best), Loving Vincent.

Favorite Series: Cowboy Bebop, The Twilight Zone, Avatar the Last Airbender, Star Wars the Clone Wars, Mars, Master of None, Stranger Things, Gravity Falls, The Expanse.

I really hate how people disregard movies and/or television series if its Animated or if it's something Foreign. If you dare say Animated shows are meant for children and/or if you dare say that movie's not English are not worth watching then "Gamo Su".

Cowboy Bebop is one of the greatest show's I have ever watched, I highly recommend watching it (It's an Anime, However Watch it in English, for the voice acting is great;). It's soundtrack is also phenomenal, with a lot of Blues, Jazz (Bebop is a type of Jazz BTW). I truly believe it to be a masterpiece of animation and story telling. All the episodes are named after Rock Songs, so I know all the episodes in order.

Tea

I'm always asked how did I find my love for tea, in which I wish to reply like it is a sappy Romance movie "I didn't find it ...... it found me". But I first discovered my love for tea when I was in London. It was a cloudy morning as it usually is there and I had gotten breakfast in the morning, I of course made sure to get scones, eggs Benedict, and other stereotypical English breakfast snacks and dishes, this included a cup of tea (I never like coffee). I had an Earl Grey and was surprised by how good it was. So I went of course to the drink table at my hotel and took half of the dispenser's tea and the Green Tea's as well. Leading me down the path to love tea and drink it very often.

My secret desire is to open a Tea Shop/Bakery/Boutique cafe/local shop called SubtleTea. (If you take this name I will sue you).

Favorite Teas: Green, Jasmine, Mint, Ginger, Lady Grey, Lemon Balm, Hibiscus. (I'll drink any tea except Rooibos; too earthy).

Finale

I hope this sheds some light on my character. If it does not and your still eager to know more about me I would love to converse with you and mutually learn about one another; for I love to talk about anything with anyone; especially in person.
